Web Space

This is the disk space which we have allocated for you on our server. There is a limit (or quota) on the disk space your account can use and the pages of your site, the web applications you install on your site, the email messages stored in your mailboxes all count against your disk space quota. When your site grows and you approach the quota we will warn you so you can remove some files you don't need or upgrade your account to a bigger hosting plan with more disk space.

You can use the the chapter called The Control Panel to get detailed information of the disk space usage for your account.

Please note that sometimes the used disk space can appear to be slightly higher than what you expect. The reason for this is that the size of your databases, the log files of the web server for your sites, and other system files related to your account are included in those statistics. In most cases you don't need to worry about that and the size of your site on your local hard drive will be roughly equal to the disk space used by your account after you upload your site.
