Your Hosting Account

We provide hosting accounts and this means that we provide a set (also referred to as 'a package') of services. These services are used and managed together, separately from other accounts. Sometimes you may wish to host more than one site with us. For example you wish to host your personal website as well as a fan site about your favorite band and you want to keep the two sites separate. In another situation you could be a webmaster maintaining the sites of numerous clients. It's best then to purchase separate hosting plans (and have separate hosting packages) but you may find it comfortable to be able to easily switch between the Control Panels of your sites or simply view a list of all sites/packages that you own and host with us. That's why in our service the customers and their sites are separate entities. Each customer can own (and can manage) one or more hosting package and a single package can be managed by more than one customer (think of the webmaster that wants to give access to a site to their client). That's why each customer and each package have their own password. When you're loggin on to the Control Panel you can use either password. Your customer password will work with all the packages that you own. The package password will only work with the respective package. If this sounds too complicated for you simply use the password you have in the welcome email that you received when you signed up with us. You only need to care for the different kinds of passwords if you own many sites and/or wish to share the access to your sites with friends or co-workers in a secure manner.
