The Control Panel (or CP for short) is a central location where you can manage all aspects of your hosting account. This chapters explains what the various areas of the CP are for and how to use them.
The different tools of the CP are separated into nine groups for easier navigation - Accounts, Tools, Email, Domain names, Pages, Scripts, Reports, Troubleshooting and Databases. These groups are all displayed on the home page.
On the left pane of the home screen you can view basic information about the currently active hosting package:
The primary domain name for the active package appears is diplayed in bold (mydomain.com in this example)
Optionally a list of every other package that belongs to the currently logged on customer will appear (if the customer used their customer password to log on). Click on a domain name to switch to the respective package.
The signup and due date for the account.
The used up resources and the allowed resources for the active package. In this example the customer is allowed to use 400 megabytes of disk space and is using right now 0.12 megabytes of space.
